1977 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 2

Supplied new by Broughtons of Cheltenham in October 1977, this lovely Shadow 2 is presented in primrose with black vinyl roof and black  leather interior piped magnolia. With just 62,000 miles on the clock she drives absolutely beautifully with a quiet engine and smooth gear changes. After spending a good part of the last ten yers in storage we were asked by the owner to recommission the car and get her fit for the road which we duly carried out. The brakes have all been refreshed and work perfectly, the fluids have all been changed and she really does drive as well as she looks.
The car was subject to a full repaint some years ago and while that is now showing signs of age, it is nothing more that slight fading in parts, although you need to look hard to find it! The vinyl roof is in excellent condition save for the smallest bit of corrosion in the corner of the very rare factory fitted sunroof.
The leather is all in very good condition and the carpets are also in great shape. The rear picnic tables are always a welcome addition to see in these cars and the door cappings have all been professionally refurbished and look like new.
But it's the paperwork that goes with this car that tells the story! There is an A4 ring binder full of the history of the last 45 years. Not only is there the original delivery note, there are Rolls Royce service invoices dating right back that show how much this car has been looked after - great bedtime reading! There is also an current MOT until June 2023.
